Last night Kadence was having her nightly shower and her dad was at the counter shaving. She was playing, stacking up her cups and shampoo bottles while Kade finished shaving. He put the razor up in the shower rack when he was done, and that little monkey climbed up and got it out. He got in the shower and rinsed off his face and washed his hair when he rinsed off the shampoo there was Kadence in the shower with the razor above her lip, she had rubbed conditioner on her face and was just starting to run the razor down her upper lip. He grabbed it from her just as she nicked herself a teeny tiny bit. We made a big deal over it and told her that she could have cut her lips off. She was pretty devastated. Kade cut a standard band-aid in half to make it the size to go above her lip and she wore it all night and this morning for a while. I guess we will have to be EXTRA EXTRA careful now instead of just Extra careful. Little stinker.
For those of you that don't know about the last time... when she was about 1 1/2 years old, she was in the shower playing and I was cutting Kade's hair right in the bathroom. He had left his razor on the shelf of the shower, what we hadn't noticed was that she was big enough to reach up there at that time. She got it and started shaving her head. She had about a 2 inch bald spot on the top of her head all the way to the scalp and 2 big chops in her hair on the back. Lots of hair on the floor of the shower. So from then on we started putting the razors up high in the shower rack... I guess we need to move them again.
Yes we have won the "Parents of the Year" award two times now for the same thing.

Too funny!
That is too funny. Madison my daughter did that but shaved off part of her eyebrow. Kids definately keep you on your toes.
Funny:) Not really for you though. My daughter shaved her legs once, or tried. She cut herself good right off the bat.
